In North Malabar, Mukundan, a local Communist Party secretary as well as a Theyyam artist, grapples with the challenges of ageing and life’s complexities. ಉತ್ತರ ಮಲಬಾರ್ನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮುಕುಂದನ್, ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಕಮ್ಯುನಿಸ್ಟ್ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ತೆಯ್ಯಂ ಕಲಾವಿದ. ವಯಸ್ಸಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಎದುರಾಗುವ ಹಲವಾರು ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೂ ಅವರು ಮುಂಬರುವ ಗುಳಿಕನ್ ತೆಯ್ಯಂ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಲು ಸಜ್ಜಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದು ಥುಲಂನ ಹತ್ತನೇ ದಿನದ ನಂತರ ವರ್ಷದ ಹಬ್ಬಗಳ ಆರಂಭವನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಬಹುಶಃ ಇದು ಅವರ ಕೊನೆಯ ಆಟವಾಗಿರಬಹುದು.
