In Russia, at the time of the cruel and illegal mass deportation campaign of Georgians. A young Georgian woman, Medea, who recently sold her house in Georgia, goes to view an apartment in St. Petersburg’s historic centre. It is on sale for a very low price, but it comes together with its owner, an old man named Vadim Vadimich. Medea is pleased with everything, even the prospect of having an old man as a flatmate doesn’t scare her. She is ready to move in immediately and start a new life.

RUSUDAN GLURJIDZE

Rusudan Glurjidze is a Georgian film director, screenwriter, and producer. She studied French at Tbilisi State University and later Film Directing and Scriptwriting at the Georgian State Film and Theatre Institute. After the Soviet Union collapsed, she worked in advertising. Since 2007, she has been the Producer and Creative Director of Cinetech Film. Her debut feature, HOUSE OF OTHERS, won the Grand Prix at Karlovy Vary IFF and was Georgia's nominee for Best Foreign Language Film at the 89th Academy Awards.
